I just spent 20 minutes on hold to talk to a guy named Chin who told me he was a tax specialist and that it was an internet issue! When I asked to speak to a tech specialist I got hung up on!!! I am stationed overseas and the 20 minute 800 number cost me money!!! CAN SOMEONE PLEASE CONTACT ME AND HELP WITH WITH THIS ISSUE!!!!
You have not provided enough information for us to be able to address your technical issue. First, are you using TurboTax online or the Desktop version? Please tell us what you need and what you are trying to do so that we can perhaps provide some guidance.
If you need a copy of your 2019 tax return that you filed using TurboTax here is how you can do that. These instructions will take you to both Federal and State. If you only need the state return you can download.
Here are general instructions for accessing prior year returns.:
To access your current or prior year tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the userID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/
Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and on the section Your tax returns & documents click on Show. Click on the Year and Click on Download/print return (PDF)
See this TurboTax support FAQ for accessing prior year online tax returns - https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/prior-year-return/help/how-do-i-access-my-prior-year-return/01/270...
If you used the desktop CD/Download editions installed on your computer, the only copy of your tax data file and any PDF's will be on the computer where the return was created. TurboTax does not store online any returns completed using the desktop editions.
Sometimes, clearing your history, cookies, cache then reboot willl clear out some of the loops. Heres how:
Cookies are small files that temporarily store data on your computer. We use them to personalize your experience so you see information you already entered and not items that are irrelevant or repetitive.
On rare occasions, they may make your browser think you already did something that you still need to do. To fix that, you'll need to delete (clear) the cookies from your browser.
Each browser has a slightly different method for deleting cookies. Choose the browser you're using:
First I bought the Turbo Tax 2019 on line. I also bought the Turbo Tax 2018 and had no issues. As I stated in my first post I ordered on line the 2018 no issues. So I know how to download and get my taxes done. I then went to do my 2019 and all was well until my computer froze. I had to restart and it would not open up the Turbo Tax. There was no error message. I deleted everything and tried again and it still will not allow me to open up the program on the computer. My MAC Book Pro is less than a year old. I have all rights, I cleared my cache. Can you send a number I could call and not spend 20 minutes paying for international rates while I wait to be hung up on?
For further assistance, please reach out to us directly using the Help Article here.
Again the articles are NOT helping. I’m stationed overseas and the 800 is an international call for so I asked if you can send me a number so I can call someone directly. Thank you!
Can anyone help?? Do I need to ask for a refund and go to H&R Block??
Can anyone help?!?
Can you provide more details on the Operating system you are using? Such as the specific details of the Mac you have the program downloaded on.
Is there a number I can call to get help?
