Does TT file your return even though you select print and file? Won't let me change it since I haven't sent it in yet. May redo in another program. Thoughts?

Only you can print, sign, date and mail your tax return.

If you want to change from mailing the return to e-filing then follow this procedure - 

When you sign onto your online account and land on the Tax Home web page, scroll down and click on Add a state.  See screenshot

This will take you back to the 2018 online tax return.

1. Select File in the left menu.
2. On the Just one more step screen, follow steps 1 and 2 if you haven't already.
3. Select the Start button to the right of Step 3.
4. On the Let's get ready to e-file screen, select I want to e-file.
5. Follow the instructions to e-file your return.
