Does the cost reduce if I pay with my refund as is stated?

Stated cost is 114.98, but it says it will deduct the 39.99 fee from my refund. Why the difference?

No you misunderstood. If you choose to pay your TurboTax fees from your federal refund you are charged an EXTRA fee of $39.99. Pay TurboTax upfront using a credit card to avoid that extra fee.

That is extremely deceptive the way it is stated. It never says the $39.99 is in addition to your other fee. Are you that hard up for our money??
