Yes, you no longer qualify as either's dependent. You are a Single filer. 

Since you are age 20, here is the test:

You can only claim a qualified relative if

·       You provided more than half of their support.

·       They made less than $4,050 in gross taxable income. 

·       They  lived with you for the entire year.

·       They are not a dependent on someone else’s taxes.

·       They are not filing a joint return with someone else.

·      They are a U.S. citizen, resident alien, national, or a Canadian or Mexican resident. 

From your information, it appears neither  of your parents meets the requirements in bold.

So I do indeed meet all of these requirements. However my tuition and fees are not being deducted due to the system automatically registering me as dependent due to the fact that im a full time student.

Nevermind, I qualified for the american opportunity credit
