Does my income affect whether my parents can claim me as a dependent

Does my income affect whether my parents can claim me as a dependent
If you are under the age of 24 and were a full time student in 2016, it does not have any effect on whether they can claim you (except that you have to have not provided more than 1/2 of your own support.)
If you are over the age of 23, they can't claim you if you have more than $4,050 in gross income subject to tax.
