Does my dependent full-time daughter have to file prize money?

For 2022, my daughter was a full-time, dependent college student. She was in a music competition and earned a little over $630 in prize money. She did not have a job in 2022. Does she have to file an individual income tax in order to pay taxes on the prize money? Thank you for answering.

If that is her only income she doesn’t have a filing requirement.

Yes, that was her only income. She was not employed anywhere.
