Probably not.  Whether or not you are claimed as a dependent this year, you receive the same standard deduction this year:  $12000.  However, when you are claimed as a dependent, you generally are not allowed to claim other credits, and definitely cannot claim other dependents.  Otherwise, you will not see a difference in your taxable income if you are claimed as a dependent on another return.
