When filling out the energy rebate the QMID I entered for Amana\Daiken keeps flipping to Needs Review.
As of 5:30PM CST on 1/27/26, this is still an issue with the Energy Credit form. I am using TurboTax Online.

I have the same error as well. The code is correct and I'm stuck in a review loop and wont let me complete the e-file process.
Apparently they are updating the system tomorrow (1/26) and it should be resolved after that.
It is the 26th and the error is still there

I'm having the same issue with the online version of TurboTax Deluxe. I scheduled a call with the support number and received a call back in less than 10 minutes. This call occurred at approx. 7 pm central time.
The tech insisted that either I had the wrong code for a Goodman AC unit and heat pump (I7Q6) or the IRS isn't yet set up to receive a Form 5695 data electronically. I know the QMID code is correct and I didn't buy the IRS excuse I was given.
For testing purpose, I used the Lennox code on Form 5695, L7S0, and the flag the system was throwing went away. Now I need to find the right place in the system to put in the code that actually applies to my equipment manufacturer, then brave tech support again.

UPDATE: I spoke with tech support again and they are allegedly escalating my issue to a supervisor. I asked for a call back when the issue is resolved, but we shall see...

The form (Form 5695) is available and working in TurboTax Online. However, if you are using the desktop version, TurboTax Desktop's update has been delayed. Please check back Friday as the update should take place Thursday evening.
Do you have any update on this? I am having the exact same issue.
Just got off the phone for an hour and was escalated three times. They finally realized after clearing my cookies, cache, restarting, deleting the form, deleting specific entries, blah blah blah, they said its a systemic defect on their end. There is no ETA for a fix and "keep trying everyday"

I'm having the same issue. Get an "invalid code" error message when I enter i7Q6
There was an Efile issue with the IRS rejecting QMID's starting with 'I' or 'O', being interpreted as a '1' or a '0', but this is reported as resolved. Try clearing your Cache and Cookies and perform a Manual Update if using TurboTax Desktop and retry.
