Congratulations on adopting the children! Doing your own tax return is up to your own computer skills, etc. Some users are adept at using the software, some....not so much. We do not know how comfortable you are at preparing your own return or if this is your first time using TT. We cannot see any of your information. Certainly you will want to enter your children as dependents and look into the adoption credit when you prepare your return.

If you are not feeling okay with the "do-it-yourself" software, you might want to seek help from online Live and get help from a tax expert.
