Do you have to play taxes on Disability payments. We dont have any W2's. It tells me I am getting it all back . Is this right ?

I just got the disability. Dont want to screw up. It says I do not owe  state taxes . I just need to know if it sounds right so I can file?

Which state, and what type of disability?  SSDI?  An employer plan?  A private insurance plan?

I live in Ohio. It is Social Security Disability. My husband has been ill and on it since 2011. I had any accident which. left me disabled and this is the first time filling together with both and it says I more or less get it all back that we paid.

Social Security Disability payments are not taxable unless you have substantial other income.
