Do you have store payment history for taxes owed? My state says I didn't pay on time and I filled out a form to pay from my checking account directly after March 16

I want to know that I paid my taxes on time so I can have the late fee waived.  I also do not want to pay my taxes a second time.  Does turbo taxes have receipts of payments or is that outside the scope of the system.

Beware because some states don't allow payment through turbotax (even if you pay your federal taxes by direct debit) and you have to arrange a separate payment on the state web site.

You also could have used an incorrect account number which would cause the payment to fail.

If you download or print the PDF for "all forms and worksheets" there should be a page of instructions that tells you what you owe and what payment arrangements you made.
