Do I need to fill for extension I didn’t realize after filing on here I still needed to mail this in

It is too late to file an extension.  The deadline was last night.  If you e-filed you generally do not mail anything else in, other than a payment or state requested documents. If have other documents to send in just go ahead and send them.

If you chose print and mail, just mail them now.  If you are getting a refund there is no penalty for late filing.

When sending the federal in does this cover for state refund or do I need to do something different for that

Federal and state tax returns are not mailed to the same address.  They are going to completely separate entities.  Read the filing instructions that print out with the returns so that you file and mail correctly.
When you mail a tax return, you need to attach any documents showing tax withheld, such as your W-2’s or any 1099’s.  Use a mailing service that will track it, such as UPS or certified mail so you will know the IRS received the return.
