DO I NEED TO ENTER THE 1098 INFO IF I WANT TO FILE THE SHORT FORM?

I know the standard deduction is 12,600 and I don't have that much in deductions. do I still need to enter?

You do not have to enter the 1098 or any other itemized deductions if you know that your itemized deductions will be less than the standard deduction.
