Yes. There are several things that have to match with your spouse's return. Like you both have to take the Standard Deduction or both itemize.

Why are you filing MFS? Joint is usually the best way.

in order to exclude the unemployment compensation. UCE of join and separate must be lower than 150,000, which doesn't make sense at all.
