Form 3922 is for informational purposes only, for your employer to report to you information on your purchase(s) of ESPP shares - there is no requirement to enter the information from this form on your return.

this is wrong, I have entered this info in my taxes for over 20 years. For some reason 2023 doesn't allow it. Some of my ESPP purchases are already taxed and the 1099-B doesn't show the difference! I don't want to get taxed twice! Now unless they made a change, where the 1099-B includes info from the form 3922???
When you enter your stock sale information in TurboTax, Indicate that you sold employee stock:

When you enter the sales and cost data, indicate that the cost basis is missing or incorrect:

You will be given an opportunity to indicate that you need help determining your cost basis:

Later, you see a reference to Form 3922 and you can then enter that information:
