Do you have a TurboTax Online account?

We'll help you get started or pick up where you left off.

Do I need to delete my entire TurboTax account to delete my rejected return because I can not file through TurboTax but it wont let me clear it.

Can't file an amend with TurboTax because I filed with H&R Block so I called them and they said in order for me to amend my return it has to be done at a tax office with their software. I didn't realize. So how do I contact TurboTax and tell them I no longer wish to file my amended return with them because I can't seem to find a phone number to call them.

You can just leave and abandon it.  You can't delete an account.    If it rejected it didn't go anywhere.  There is a way to use Turbo Tax to amend a return you filed from somewhere else but you have to print and mail it.

I couldn't follow your post.  Where did you do the original return?  At HR Block or Turbo Tax?

If I understand correctly, you filed your original tax return with H&R Block, then tried to amend it with TurboTax and ran into a problem. Now you want to go back to H&R Block to file the amended return.

You don't have to tell TurboTax anything, and you don't have to clear the return in TurboTax. TurboTax is not going to file it, and it's not going to affect your ability to amend with H&R Block. Just ignore TurboTax. As far as the IRS is concerned, you never did anything with TurboTax.

If you still want to try to file the amended return with TurboTax, you can do that. But as VolvoGirl said, you cannot e-file it. You have to print it, sign it, and file it by mail. The IRS takes 5 months or more to process any amended return, but if H&R Block e-files it for you it might get processed a bit sooner than if you mail it.
