If the dividends received that are $1,350 or less they do not get reported on a tax return for the child.
It depends on the amount. Assuming this is the child's only income, and it less than $1,350, it is not taxable. If it is between $1,350-$2,700, you can report the Kiddie Tax on your return with Form 8814.
