That's one of several drawbacks with Online TurboTax versus the desktop product. The online version can only prepare 1 Federal return per online account per year. A second return requires a different account and separate fee. Do not try to prepare the second return in the same account, or it overwrites the first.
How did you end up in Online TurboTax? Do you have Windows 10 and couldn't install the desktop version, and so you used the migration offer presented when you tried to install desktop TurboTax? If so, the migration offer for Windows 10 users is good for a single Federal return (Premium Edition) and 1 state return. There is no efiling fee in the online product.
Sorry----when you use online you do not get five federal e-files like you get with desktop. With online you get one return per fee, and you pay separate fees for federal and state.
When you use online TurboTax software you get one return per fee.
Each return needs its own email, account and user ID. If you use the same account and user ID for a second return, the second one overwrites the first return and it is lost forever.
