Florida does not levy a state individual income tax. You do not need to print and mail an income tax return to the state.
The Florida return in TurboTax is to report tangible personal property that is used in a Florida-located business or rental property and is filed with the county property appraiser. If you do not have tangible personal property to report, choose Skip State in the State Taxes section.
If you do need to file a Form DR-405, nothing will print (except an instruction sheet) unless assets were transferred or you manually entered assets in the DR-405 worksheet.
If you mistakenly continued on through the Florida section in TurboTax and paid for a return that you do not need, contact customer support.

Thanks for that info. I had a follow up question. I did have a business setup (still do) in Florida with no property associated to it. I don't even have any property on my name, since i am a student. I did however file for the Florida State Tax return. The only thing i received back was an instruction form (which you mentioned in your reply). I wanted to know what exactly do we do with the instruction form and do i have to mail any documents. Thanks!

If you don't have any tangible personal property used in a business or rental property (see the 2 links below), then you don't need to file a Florida DR-405. If that does not apply to you, and if you prepared a FL return by mistake and paid for it, the info below will tell you how to ask TurboTax Support for a product refund.
Florida does not have a state income tax. Only people who have Florida businesses or rental property with tangible personal property have to file a DR-405 with the county property appraiser by April 1 each year. The articles below explain that further:
https://floridarevenue.com/property/Documents/pt114.pdf
and
https://floridarevenue.com/property/Pages/Taxpayers_TangiblePersonalProperty.aspx
If you don't have a Florida business or rental property with such tangible personal property, then you do not have to file a Florida "return." You can choose to skip the Florida return, or delete the Florida return before paying and filing if it's not needed.

If you've already paid for it and don't need it as explained above, you can talk to TurboTax Customer Support and tell them you didn't need it and ended up with it by mistake.
