Do I have to file taxes on Disability?

my husband had left several times last year but only stayed with family and friends. he is back in the house now and I am on disability raising my grandson on my own and I would like to file my taxes as married filing seperate, or if we file together as we always have so I have to claim my disability? I made 15288.00

If the social security disability is the ONLY income you received, you are not required to file a tax return. 

If you received income other than the social security disability, you will need to file if meet the following requirements:
