Divorced in 2018. 2017 taxes were filed Married filing jointly and we itemized. How do we treat 2017 State income tax refund that we received? Income for 2018? Split?

You can split it anyway you like, and it would be considered taxable income in 2018 as long as you took an itemized deduction for state income taxes in 2017.  Just make sure you have records that document how you split it.
