Divorced in 2016 Sold the house July 2017. Filing Single in 2017 but the 1099 S is for the full amount in both names. How do I report the just half the sales price?

I got divorced in 2016 and Sold the house I owed with my ex wife in July 2017.  I am filing Single in 2017 but the 1099 S is for the full amount in both of our names.  The net proceeds of the sale were divided 50/ 50 into separate checking accounts.  How do I report the just half the sales price?

Divide all the amounts (cost basis, expense of sale, sale price) by two.
