Discrepancy in State refund amount on 1099-G?

I think I'm adding to the thread "Discrepancy in State Refund Amount on 1099-G?"

I did itemize in 2023. 

I originally input my actual refund amount 23 taxes, but deleted to start over as Daboa suggested, but when I put in the amount from the 1099-G, it doesn't as me any of the questions Daboa mentioned.  

Do I leave it as the lower, 1099-G number, or the much higher actual amount I paid?

I suggest you post the 1099-G exactly as it appears on the form.
