Disabled daughter lived for one month in 2016

My daughter, who had Down Syndrome and AVSD, lived for one month in 2016 but is not appearing as a dependent I can claim. Why is that?

I'm sorry for your loss. On the screen that asks how many months she lived with you, change it to "the whole year". Per the IRS, you get to claim her for the entire year, regardless of when she passed.
