I need some help on this question. I am a full time student with a W-2 job and I do not have any children. I already triple checked to make sure I did not answer otherwise. However, it asks me this question, are they referring to me as the child?

I don't know if this matters but my parents are claiming me as a dependent.

when doing your tax return, "you" or "your" refers to you.

If you're preparing your parents' return for them, "you" refers to your parents.
