Did not work enough to receive W2, made under $600, only have paystub. How to file this?

You report as miscellaneous income.

1.  Click "Income & Expenses" tab at the top of the page

2.  Scroll down to "Less Common Income"

3.  Show More

4.  Find "Miscellaneous Income"

5.  Start

6.  Start "Other Income not reported on W2 or 1099"

Enter the income here from your pay stub(s).

It says I have to purchase Turbo Tax deluxe.. which is $60 and I already owe money to the government so now I have to pay more money to report less than $400? I do not have extra money because I do not have a job right now? How can I get around this?

There is also The Turbo Tax Free File program which is free for federal and state.  And has more forms than the Federal Free Edition, like Schedules A, B, C , D, E, F, EIC, H, K-1, SE,  etc.

To qualify for the Free File website  you just need to meet one of these 3 things.

AGI $36,000 or less.

Active duty military with AGI of $69,000 or less

OR qualify for EIC (earned income credit.)

In order to use the Free File program, you have to start it at a special website.  Click on Sign in at the top right.  It may let you continue your return so you don't have to start over.
