Did I make a mistake in using the registration online tool? The IRS now states that SSDI recipients to not use the Freefile but before was told payment quicker with tool.

Not sure why your reply was that SSDI and SSSI are different. Yes, I'm quite aware of this. That is if you meant SSI and not SSSI of which I have no knowledge. I'm assuming SSSI was a typographical error.
My question has to do with using TurboTax's Registration tool as a Social Security beneficiary and any issues arising from that. IRS has a statement to not use it that was not there the day I used the registration tool. Intuit/TurboTax encouraged it's use but that encouragement disappeared a few days later.
