Did I file for low income head of household?

There is no such status as "Low Income Head of Household."  But there is Head of Household.

Look at your Form 1040.  Your filing status at the top--above your name.  What status is checked?

If you qualified for the head of household filing status the program would have automatically given it to you. There is no way to self-select this filing status. You must have been able to answer yes to the qualifying questions. The qualifications for filing as head of household are as follows:

1. Were unmarried as of December 31 this year 
2. Paid more than half the cost to run your (or a qualifying parent's) home this year(rent, mortgage, utilities, etc.) 

3. Supported a qualifying person.

Please follow the directions below to see if your filing status is listed as the head of household:

1. Log in and open your return.
2. Click the My Info tab on the left side of the screen.
3. On the next screen, your filing status is listed in the second box down.
