Based on the information you provided, it looks like you are referring to Box 14 (not 19) - please clarify: Below are the instructions based on Box 14.

Here's how you can handle the "DI PP#000-00000" entry in TurboTax:

  1. Enter the Description: Log In to TurboTax, go to the section where you enter your W-2 information - Under the Income Tab on the right side of the screen.
  2. Box 14: Enter "DI PP#000-00000" exactly as it appears on your W-2.
  3. Amount: If there's an amount associated with it, enter that as well. If there's no amount, you can leave it blank or enter $0.
  4. If you don't see a specific category for this, you can select "Other (not classified)"

This entry typically doesn't affect your taxes directly, but it's good to include it for accuracy.

For more details, you can refer to the W-2 form instructions.

Yes, that's possible.  Check with your employer to see if they should issue a new/corrected W-2 with the information in different boxes. At least they can provide an explanation about why they may have used box 19 & 20 for this entry.
