I have a home office in each of our homes in two different states and live in each about 6 months per year. Most of the time we live in each 'seasonally' so only one of the two offices is used at a time. I earn about 50% of my total business income from each office location.
When using Turbo Tax, do I enter the total amounts of all associated expenses for each home office during the entire year and Turbo Tax calculates the pro-rated amounts if/as necessary, or do I only enter the 6 months of the total home costs that I am in one home and the 6 months of the total costs I am in the other home?
