My daughter bought a used 2017 Nissan Leaf this year.
I've been trying to figure out if she'll get a tax credit for it but the stuff I'm looking doesn't seem too clear.
Is there a tax credit for used electric vehicles?

NO
there is a tax credit for used EV's, but it does not kick in until 2023 and it is limited to autos costing less than $25,000..... so, in your case, there is no tax benefit
Note that even if this was 2023, it is what is called a "non-refundable credit", meaning it reduces the tax on Line 16 of Form 1040 by the LESSER of Line 16 or $4,000. Any unused credit (if Line 16 was less than $4,000) is forefeited as it can not be carried over to the following year.
