Data Not Transferring from 2023 Return

I am using a 2024 Turbo Tax MacOS desktop app and I am attempting to transfer data from a my 2023 return which was created in the 2023 TurboTax Mac desktop app.  The transfer appears to succeed (I am told that a list of information was transferred), but the 2024 Tax form does not contain any of the data that was said to be transferred.  It is asking for my name, address, etc.  Please help!  Thank you.

Follow these steps provided by TurboTax:

To transfer info from your 2023 TurboTax for Mac return:

1. Open TurboTax for Mac 2024 and choose File New Tax Return.
2. Select Begin and choose Use a tax return that's on my computer.
3. Select your 2023 return from the list and select Continue.
   • If you don't see your return, select Find your tax return.
   • If your 2023 return is on another computer, here's how to move it to your present computer.
4. Select Continue to review the transferred information. We'll also give you opportunities to review, edit, or delete transferred information later on.

Be aware that once you've gone past the Transfer screens, you can't go back to revisit them. If you need to re-do your transfer, go back to step 1 to start over with a new return.
