I have a revocable trust for my son. It is less than $2,000.00 @ earned less than $150.00 , am I required to file a tax return?

I started The trust over 5 yrs. ago, just $2,000.00 and did not file any tax yet. The trust earns less than 150.00,  was told by someone who does tax returns that I don't have to filel

Correct ... if the trust made less than $600 it is not required to file a return.
