Computed taxes properly with 2017 W2 numbers but mistakenly attached 2018 W2 when mailing printed return.

I prepared and printed my 2017 return using Turbotax entering information from my 2017 W2's.  But when I mailed in the signed printed return, I mistakenly attached my 2018 W2's.  Do I need to do anything?

Wait and see if the IRS sends it back to you. Sit tight and see what they do.
By the way--did you use 2017 software?  Not the current online program---which is ONLY for 2019?

Yes, I entered all 2017 information using 2017 Turbo Tax.  I just mistakenly attached the 2018 paper W2 to the printed tax forms.  Thanks.

You will just need to wait and see what happens with it.  If you mailed it fairly recently, that will take awhile.

Per the IRS website IRS Operations During COVID-19: Mission-critical functions continueThe IRS is not currently able to process individual paper tax returns. If you already have filed via paper but it has not yet been processed, do not file a second tax return or write to the IRS to inquire about the status of your return or your economic impact payment. Paper returns will be processed  once processing centers are able to reopen.
