Claiming a dependent

My grandmother has tried to claim me on her taxes and should but when she went to file it was not accepted because it said my social security number had already been used as someone else's dependent, what should we do?

Did you already file your own tax return and say no one else can claim you? Or did someone else---your mother or father---claim you? Please explain.
