Charles Schwab data still not importing as of 2/25/26

I just received my Schwab 1099s for 2025 in my online account.  The 1099s were not available until today, probably because I have Section 199A dividends as well as nondividend distributions which I assume take time for the reporting companies to generate.  In any event, I tried importing the document today.  Went through all the steps and the import reportedly went through, but there is no change on my online draft.  I have tried repeating this exercise at least 5 times and the import just doesn't go through.

Of course, I could always do it by hand, but then, what is the point of using TTax at all?   I have over 20 transactions that I would have to list, which renders TTax irrelevant.

I have had the exact same experience. Go through the import process and get a confirmation that everything went through and Turbotax has the data, but no information is actually uploaded to the tax return.

I had the same issue, no data get imported. Import files completed but the TurboTax 2025 shows Schwab interest and dividend sections marked "NEEDS REVIEW" and when I click the "Review" tag, it brings me back to the import window again.

If you received a "Success" message but your data hasn't appeared in TurboTax, it is likely due to recent browser security updates regarding Local Network Access.

To fix this you need to allow TurboTax to securely retrieve your data through your browser settings:

  1. Locate the View Site Information icon (the "tune" or "lock" icon) on the far left of your address bar, just before the URL.
  2. Find Local Network Access in the dropdown menu.
  3. Toggle the switch to ON.
  4. Refresh the page and attempt your import again.

If permissions aren't the issue, one of the following factors may be at play:

  • Brokerage Delays: While most forms arrive by January 31, many brokerages delay Consolidated 1099s (like the 1099-B) until mid-February due to complex reporting requirements.
  • Availability: Your brokerage must specifically "release" the import file to TurboTax. If it isn’t ready, we recommend checking back.
  • Connection Blocks: Active VPNs or aggressive Anti-Virus software can occasionally block the import feature between your bank and TurboTax. Try disabling them temporarily or switching to a different browser.

Charles Schwab data still not importing as of 2/25/26

Schwab data for late arriving 1099's was not supposed to be available until 2/27.  PDFs for some were available earlier, but they then need to go through the process of file conversion to the various tax software company formats.

My pdf was available on Wednesday. I was able to download the data late yesterday. When you search for "Schwab" do you see two options?  I has two - the first returned forms with $0 amounts and the second imported all of my data correctly

Thank you! It worked!  Here are the detail:

I'm using Mac mini and the latest Chrome browser. Before actual importing, on the "TueboTax Desktop Partner Connection (https://ttd-fdp-ui-config-v2.app.intuit.com/cg-ttd-us-fdp) page, I clicked the tune icon (the one looks like a couple of horizontal slide nobs), then select "Site settings", which brought up another tab. Select the "Privacy and Security" on the left and find the "Local network" setting on the right. The setting was "Ack (default)". I changed it to "Allow". Also, on the top of right side, there is a usage cookie setting. I chose "Delete data" and reloaded the "YurboTax Desktop Partner Connection" page.

Hope it helps.
