If you get charged for the Desktop program but can't install it, Turbo Tax has a special offer to move to the Online version. See info at the bottom of this Windows 10 End of Life article……

I got the extra year of support for windows 10. If Turbotax 2025 wont run on it, I am probably moving to another tax program. I am DEFINITELY NOT getting a new computer or 'upgrading' to windows 11 just to run tax software.

it's only the desktop version that requires Windows 11; you can use the online version with windows 10.

It astonishes me that even though Microsoft has extended support for Windows 10 for another three years, Intuit has discontinued support for Windows 10 in TurboTax. It requires negligible work to make software that runs on both Win10 and Win11, but Intuit has nevertheless decided to kick millions of customers to the curb. The mind boggles.
