I traveled abroad during the summer. I changed currency during this time. The largest amount I changed at once was 2,500 Euro, into US dollars. I believe the currency rates I received (airport) resulted in a loss. In any case, I don't care about claiming a loss, I don't want to bother.
Am I *required* to file something with my tax returns as a result of that transaction?
Thanks.

No, you are NOT required to report currency changes on a tax return for personal transactions.
Thank you very much for the answer.
