Cannot import my 2106 tax file (WIN CD ver) into the 2017 online version. There is no option to do so and all instruction show an option which does not appear for 2017.

Looking at the help / previous asked and answered question show a way to do the import for previous years but the same menu option does not appear to exist for the 2017 online version.  When I go to the tools menu there is no option to import; any work-arounds?

You'll need to upgrade to TurboTax Online Deluxe (or higher) to access the Transfer last year's TurboTax return from your computer link from the Tools Center. (Click the screenshot below for reference.)
