Convert Canadian dollars to US dollars and add to your US social security. If no U.S. social security just report it as if it were that. If your state exempts social security income from tax you would have to add that income to your state return if your state doesn’t exempt Canadian social security which is likely.
You will have to report your Canada Social Security Retirement income in TurboTax as if you received a Form SSA-1099-from the Social Security Administration. They will be reported on line 6a of your Form 1040.
There are income tax treaties between the U.S. and Canada. Social Security benefits paid by Canada to U.S. residents are treated as if they were paid under the Social Security Administration of the U.S.

These amounts will be entered on your Form 1040 in Box 6a.
