Can you verify that turbo tax filed my extension for both federal and state tax for 2016?

If you used the TurboTax Easy Extension to electronically file the federal extension it will be shown in this website as either accepted or rejected - https://turbotax.intuit.com/tax-tools/efile-status-lookup/

If you did not electronically file the federal extension request, then you had to print and mail the Form 4868 to the IRS.

TurboTax does not file a state extension for you.
