Can you use "Freedom Edition" if you are BOTH a self-employed business owner who gets 1099-misc.forms and also as an employee who gets a W2 for working for someone else?
Regarding the "FREEDOM EDITION" by turbo tax: By night, I have a music entertainment business and receive 1099s, but I also have a so called "day job" doing part time office work, where I receive a W2... am I eligible to use the turbo tax "FREEDOM EDITION"? I am trying to tally my 1099s on the "freedom edition", and it allowed me to enter them but it is just showing $0 for the total amount after entering 3 different 1099's. Does this mean I am not allowed to use the "FREEDOM EDITION" turbo tax?????? I don't want to fill in everything just to find out I have to upgrade to a paid edition. Can someone let me know before I move ahead on this? Thank you!

Yes, the FREEDOM edition handles both 1099-Miscs and W-2s. You have to meet one of the qualifiers below to have access to it:
- Have an AGI of $33K or less
- Be Active Duty Military with an AGI of $66K or less
- Qualify for the Earned Income Tax Credit
If you have started the return and entered income and still see $0 on the summary, it is probably because you do not have enough personal information set-up yet (TurboTax doesn't have enough info to apply tax). Go back to the 'My Info' section and add names, SSNs, and dependents so that Freedom knows you qualify based on the requirements above.
