Can you tell me why when i fill out box D, it says it is not matching?

Box D where? On what form, or what page in TurboTax? We can't see your screen. And what does it not match? What is the complete error message?

If you mean the box D on the W-2 that simply means your employer is not in the import system at this time so you will need to manually enter the W-2 info yourself.

Why can't I successfully import my W-2 directly from my employer?

• Your payroll provider needs to be a TurboTax Import Partner
• Your W-2 must be available for import. Most are ready by February 1 and some are disabled after the filing deadline
• We need the Box 1 amount from your W-2 or the year-to-date YTD gross income from your year-end pay stub
• In some cases, we'll need the Box d Control Number from your W-2, but only if your payroll provider requires it
