Losses don't give you more refund in and of themselves, your refund may be limited by how much you've paid in and have available to be refunded.

If you have a business that has almost 1/2 million in expenses, you may want to seek the assistance of a local tax professional, they can explain to you the outcome of the return....that what you pay them for.

I am Confused because we also prepared our taxes on turbo tax and it states we shall receive a return of 12,000.
