Can you please inform me why I was charged 179.19 dollars to file my taxes? I was originally told it would only cost 79.99 dollars. I believe I have been mischarged.

You are posting from TurboTax Deluxe Live which includes live help and is currently 119.99 for federal. State is an additional 44.99. The Live version is substantially more than the standard Deluxe federal. You are posting from TurboTax Live Deluxe. The fee for Live Deluxe is $119.99 and the state is another $44.99 + sales tax.
