i started filing my 2022 taxes last year in february on the turbo tax app. once i was almost done filing on the turbo tax app it asked for my PIN number from the year before. The year before i did not file my own taxes so i did not know the PIN number. Since i did not know the pin number i had to discontinue finishing my 2022 tax return. And i want to also file my 2023 tax return as well.

To access your current or prior year online tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the userID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/ 

Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and on the section Your tax returns & documents click on Show.  Click on the Year

 OR

When you sign onto your online account and land on the Tax Home web page, scroll down and click on Add a state.  

This will take you back in to the 2022 online tax return.

A 2022 return cannot be e-filed.  E-filing is closed for 2022.  You will need to file by mail.  

Print it, sign and date it in ink and mail it in.

When you mail a tax return, you need to attach any documents showing tax withheld, such as your W-2’s or any 1099’s.  Use a mailing service that will track it, such as UPS or certified mail so you will know the IRS/state received the return.

Federal and state returns must be in separate envelopes and they are mailed to different addresses.  Read the mailing instructions that print with your tax return carefully so you mail them to the right addresses.
