can you get an answer for a turbo tax program problem from anyone?

turbo tax keep flagging an item from last years return that doesn't apply.

If the item no longer applies you'll need to remove it from the return to clear that error. TurboTax cannot e-file your return with empty forms.

I agree but there is no way to remove it .

What is the item?  We can probably tell you how to get there to remove it.

My pension service provider changed last year . I entered all the information just like in previous years . However turbo tax keep flagging me to put in numbers for my prior service provider . There are no numbers to input and no way to convey to the program that that service provider is no longer applicable .

Is there any empty 1099-R on your return?

On the Wages & Income screen, click Add/Edit next to the 1099-R line. You should see a list of Forms 1099-R that are included in your return. On the one you need to delete, you should see a trash can on the right. This icon deletes the form from your return.
