Can turbo tax fill out 1099 for my nanny

The "Home & Business" (desktop) and "Self-Employed" (online) have the ability to prepare 1099-MISC's. Lesser versions don't have that capability. Is a 1099-MISC the appropriate reporting? If the nanny works in your home a W-2 might be required instead.
