Can the Premier edition be used for more than one tax return?

All the TurboTax desktop CD/Download editions can be used to create and complete as many tax returns as needed without any further charges after purchase.  The desktop editions come with 5 free federal e-files (set by IRS rules).  Any tax returns beyond the 5 free e-files can be printed and mailed to the IRS.

The 2017 Desktop software ---

You can complete an unlimited number of returns however you can only efile up to 5 federal returns for free and there is an extra cost to efile each state return (but mailing them is free).

The online program only completes one return per user ID and the state program is an added cost however you can efile the federal and state returns for free.
