What happens when you try to open and start the installation file download?

can you be more specific on where it hung up? did it download and you can't launch it? did it launch but the activation screen is hanging?
what version of Windows do you have? did you purchase a new computer after Oct 10, 2020?
I downloaded the TurboTax 2020 product, and opened the downloaded file to complete installation. A dial-up box appears and then it looks like it is extracting the file...but then nothing happens. I've done EVERY one of the troubleshooting steps, but the program will not complete the installation. I am using Windows 10, and my system requirements are fine.
did you get to the activation screen or did it fail before that?
It failed before that. After the box appears that say "extracting files", the box disappears...then nothing.
